The Colonial Metalcrafts collection by Shades of Light is one of the few remaining lines in the U.S. dedicated to crafting outdoor lights entirely by hand, preserving a tradition of exceptional artisanship.

The creation process begins with large sheets of copper or brass that are carefully cut and then shaped and sanded by hand to achieve a flawless finish. Each light takes hours to complete, showcasing the artisans' dedication to craftsmanship. With numerous unique designs and several finish options, these handcrafted, made in Virginia lights are in high demand and sold nationwide.
