⚠️ WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including: lead which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

The warning listed on our website is in accordance with a law implemented by the state of California called Proposition-65. Under this regulation, California law requires businesses to provide warnings for products containing chemicals that the state of California has identified as carcinogens or reproductive toxins. Recent amendments to this law require any retailers selling to California residents to list this warning on their website.

There are currently almost 1,000 substances on the Proposition-65 list, ranging from cigarette smoke and asbestos to aspirin and wood dust. One of the materials listed is lead, and because most light fixtures contain brass in the sockets or in the frames of the shades, we are required to put this warning label on our light fixtures. Brass is a metal alloy consisting of copper, zinc and small amounts of lead, which is what triggers the “lead” warning under California Proposition-65 since lead has been shown to cause cancer when it is ingested.

We hope that this explains things a little more clearly. If you have any additional questions, we would suggest visiting the website mentioned above for more information and the complete list of substances that require warnings under Proposition-65.

    One of the orbs is

One of the orbs is not perfectly round; there’s a swirl in the bottom of the glass pendant.

Beautiful but Glass always looks dirty

I bought 3 of these pendants for over our kitchen island about 9 months ago. They are beautiful but they always appear dirty. I bought a special clothe that doesn’t shed to clean the inside and outside but no matter what they look dirty. Especially when the temperature changes and they fog up. Hoping to replace just the glass to keep the rest of the lights. Otherwise good quality.

    Beautiful but poor quality control

This is the second time this has happened with this company. I ordered 3 of these lights and find them absolutely gorgeous, however the structure where the bulb screws in is bent in therefore the bulb does not hang straight. See picture. This was the exact same problem with the last fixture that I ordered from them-at that time I had tried calling the company and they agreed to give me a very small refund( I think 10%). We hadn’t noticed it until it was installed. My husband tried to take the last one apart and correct it but did not want to risk breaking the ceramic component inside so it is still a little bent. This one I didn’t notice until our electrician had already mounted as well we haven’t tried to fix it yet. I would have given it a 4 star as it really is a beautiful fixture and the other two were straight, however this same defective light also had a foggy residue on the Inside of the globe. I had to take it down and clean it, which isn’t a big deal but shouldn’t be necessary for a brand new fixture out of the box. Again, the other two were fine. Also, the metal part feels a bit cheap (compared to some pottery barn chrome fixtures I have ordered recently to match). You can’t tell once it’s hanging however. I would consider ordering this, however before you mount any of their fixtures, screw a bulb in and inspect it well.
