OK..I've been stalking this light fixture for months. Finally bit the bullet and bought it to replace the fixture over my kitchen table.
Appalled at the shipping cost- 10% of the cost of the fixture- expected it to arrive in a gold box, not a box clearly from china. I opened the box and pulled out one of the glass balls. Initially I was disappointed. You can't see the detail in this blurry photo but the ball is full with glass threads. Looking at it not put together, I wasn't sure I'd like it. After it was all put together LOVE IT! NOTE: the size of it is really long by default. You can't shorten the strings, and they don't show you this but there is a silver ball on top that hangs from the silver ceiling mount. From the ceiling to bottom, the shortest I could make this was 3 feet. |
