I bought this Lamp because it was very similar to a discontinued Pottery Barn lamp that I had missed out on. The first time I went to dust the lamp with a damp cleaning cloth, the "paint?" on the base of the lamp flaked off and exposed its silver metal. Although this lamp is attractive, I do not feel like its quality is worth the amount paid. It in no way resembles the quality of the Pottery Barn lamp which was so very similar looking. I'd rate this lamp as "Hobby Lobby" quality and would not spend over $75.00 for.

I got this lamp to match a set I got from Pottery Barn a few years ago. The base is just a little different, and the light bulbs are not standard. This lamp takes candelabra bulbs. The shade is paper, not linen as I had hoped. Still, it has the look I wanted and is a good heavy lamp.
