Picture lights come in several styles: traditional shapes in antique gold finish; contemporary slimline tube picture lights in chrome, black, or nickel; and small minimalist spot lights. Attach the picture light to the frame or the wall. Pictures should be lit from a 30-45 degree angle to prevent glare. Look for chrome reflectors inside the fixture to maximize light output.Picture lights should be 2/3 the width of the portrait or artwork.
