To make a shade sit lower on your lamp, you need to change the harp or adapt the shade with a clip-on bulb adapter. If you want to clean a lamp shade, consult the manufacturer. If the frame is brass, the fabric can probably be washed in gently cleanser in the tub. Or try our shade cleaning brush!
