Spark inspires me daily…in fact, sometimes I “hate” to read her posts because she makes me want to redecorate all the time! Her ideas are so fresh yet timeless. I especially love her “But This, Not That” posts…who knew there were so many affordable alternatives to the expensive pieces I tend to gravitate toward?
Ada introduced me to Shades of Light, as well…I can tell you, her daughter’s nursery looks amazing with its new light fixtures. I have browsed through the site on several occasions and have found myself amazed at the variety you all provide…all beautiful. For someone who loves having brightly lit rooms, your offerings leave a lot to be desired–in a good way! I want it all!

Believe it or not, my husband turned me onto Ada-Marie’s Spark! blog. I love the “buy this not that” posts.
I loved Ada’s post about her search for the perfect ceiling fan. As the embarassed owner of two ugly ceiling fans, she inspired me not to settle for utilitarian but ugly accessories. I have been a fan of spark! from its inception. I love the new crisp ideas spark! has to offer. Shades of Light not only has great lighting, they also have a variety of decorating styles. I love Shades of Light because you can find whatever flavor you are in the mood for.
I can’t believe it! How cool- I love a bargain hunter and Ada’s dedication to the pursuit of things frugal and beautiful. AND I have Shades of Light on my ‘to do list’ for my last fixture in our remodel!
